In collaboration with the Engineering Test Institute, we are continuing the certification process for our 1.2 MW PEM electrolyzer demonstrator.
One of the key operating modes being tested is low-load operation. It is precisely when operating outside the nominal power range that we can determine whether the system is properly designed and capable of maintaining stable operation, the required parameters, and reliable control.
This operating mode is of critical importance for our solution. We are developing the electrolyzer for direct connection to renewable energy sources, whose output fluctuates throughout the day. The equipment must therefore function reliably even when solar or wind sources are supplying less energy.
For us, certification is not just a formality. It is an independent verification of the equipment’s quality, stability, and operational reliability. At the same time, it provides us with objective data on how the electrolyzer performs under precisely defined operating conditions.
